Waterways Ireland Killaloe Water Festival

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the Killaloe Water Festival will take place both upstream and downstream of the Killaloe – Ballina town bridge and also in the vicinity of the Killaloe Canal from 1900hrs on Fri 11th. to 1800hrs on Sun 13th . Sep 2015.
Masters of vessels are requested to note the advice of marshals when passing through the area and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
Marine Notice No 108 of 2015 is now withdrawn.

Hazelhatch Bridge to 13th Lock – Towpath Closure

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that due to Arthur’s Way path works the canal towpath will be closed Westwards between Hazelhatch Bridge, Co. Dublin and the 13th Lock, Lyon’s Estate, Co. Kildare from end of August 2015 until December 2015.
Access to boats moored at Extended Mooring Locations will be maintained during the works.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.
