Floating Moorings

Marine Notice No 10 of 2016 refers. Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users that the floating moorings in Mountshannon Harbour which had been closed to the public due to damage as a result of winter floods have now been reopened.

Marine Notice No 10 is now withdrawn.

Ballina Floating Moorings

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users that the floating moorings located downstream of the Killaloe-Ballina town bridge, on the Ballina side , are closed to the public due to damage as a result of high water levels and storms.

Floating Moorings Damaged Access Ramp

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the access ramp to the floating moorings at Shannonbridge has been damaged to an extent that it now presents a trip hazard. Users are advised to take due care when accessing the moorings via the ramp until repairs can be effected.

Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
