Sunken vessel blocking jetty

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of vessels that a sunken vessel is blocking access to Knockninny Jetty on Upper Lough Erne.
The location of the sunken vessel is marked with two red buoys. Masters of vessels are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of Knockninny Jetty.
Waterways Ireland wishes to apologise for any inconvenience that this matter may cause its customers.

Gesunkenes Schiff blockiert Anlegestelle
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass ein gesunkenes Schiff die Zufahrt zur Knockninny Jetty am Upper Lough Erne blockiert.
Die Position des gesunkenen Schiffes ist mit zwei roten Bojen markiert. Die Kapitäne von Schiffen werden gebeten, in der Nähe von Knockninny Jetty mit erhöhter Vorsicht vorzugehen.
Waterways Ireland möchte sich für alle Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigen, die diese Angelegenheit für seine Gäste mit sich bringen könnte.

Athlone – Upstream of By-Pass Bridge

Sunken Vessel

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of all craft that there is a sunken vessel on the western side of the navigation approx. 200m upstream of the by-pass bridge at Athlone.
A temporary red buoy is in place to mark the location.
Masters are requested to proceed with additional caution in the area.

Gesunkenes Boot
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne aller Wasserfahrzeuge darauf hinweisen, dass auf der Westseite der Navigation ca. 200 m stromaufwärts der Umgehungsbrücke bei Athlone ein gesunkenes Schiff liegt.
Eine provisorische rote Boje markiert die Stelle.
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, in diesem Gebiet mit erhöhter Vorsicht weiterzufahren..

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and Owners of vessels that the sunken vessel in the main navigational channel immediately West of the 35th Lock Deep Gate, on the Grand Canal at Shannon Harbour has now been removed.

Marine Notice No 24 /2015 is now withdrawn.

SUNKEN VESSEL

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and Owners of vessels that there is a sunken vessel in the main navigational channel immediately West of the 35th Lock Deep Gate, on the Grand Canal at Shannon Harbour.
Passage is not possible at this time. Efforts are being made to remove the vessel at this time and a further Marine Notice will be issued when the channel is clear for navigation.
Any inconvenience to our customers is regretted.
