Grand Canal

Sallins, Towpath Closure

15 to 26 February 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the towpath on the South Bank of the Grand Canal adjacent to Church Avenue will be closed from 15th to 26th February 2022. This closure is to facilitate tree removal works for the new Greenway route.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Waterways Ireland möchte darauf hinweisen, dass der Treidelpfad am Südufer des Grand Canal in der Nähe der Church Avenue vom 15. bis 26. Februar 2022 gesperrt wird. Die Sperrung erfolgt, um Baumfällarbeiten für die neue Greenway-Route zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten.

Between 9th Lock Road and Parkwest

Towpath Closure – 05 to 16 July 2021

To facilitate contractor KLM Utilities carrying out essential works on behalf of ESB on the cycle/pedestrian towpath of the Grand Canal between 9th Lock Road and Parkwest the towpath will be closed between Monday 5thth July and Friday 16th July. Detours will be in place.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in this matter.

Sperrung des Treidelpfades – 05. bis 16. Juli 2021
Um dem Auftragnehmer KLM Utilities die Durchführung wichtiger Arbeiten im Auftrag der ESB auf dem Fahrrad-/Fußgänger-Towpath des Grand Canal zwischen 9th Lock Road und Parkwest zu ermöglichen, wird der Towpath zwischen Montag, dem 5. Juli, und Freitag, dem 16. Juli, gesperrt sein. Es werden Umleitungen eingerichtet.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Towpath Closure – Kilcock 16th Level

Update of Marine Notice 125 of 2018

Waterways Ireland wishes to advice all users of the Royal Canal, 16th Level, of ongoing works at the Kilcock Overflow on the 16th level Royal Canal. The Royal Canal will also continue to be closed to navigation over this period due to the lowered water levels.
The towpath will remain closed at Fern’s Lock. Access to towpath will be available from Kilcock 16th lock West for approx.1km.
These works will continue until 12 April 2019.

Aktualisierung der Marine Notiz 125 von 2018
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Benutzer des Royal Canal, 16. Stufe, über die laufenden Arbeiten am Kilcock Überlauf auf dem 16. Stufe des Royal Canal informieren. Auch der Royal Canal wird in diesem Zeitraum aufgrund des gesunkenen Wasserspiegels weiterhin für die Schifffahrt gesperrt bleiben.
Der Treidelpfad bleibt bei Fern’s Lock geschlossen. Der Zugang zum Treidelpfad ist ab der 16. Schleuse Kilcock West für ca. 1 km möglich.
Diese Arbeiten dauern bis zum 12. April 2019.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Towpath Closure

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users of the Grand Canal, Circular Line, Dublin, of planned works – towpath refurbishment – along the Grand Canal towpath from Level C6 to Level C7 metro line. The towpath will be closed for the duration of the planned works.
These works are due to commence Monday 19th November and will continue for 2 weeks.

Treidelpfad Schließung
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Nutzer des Grand Canal, Circular Line, Dublin, über geplante Arbeiten – Sanierung von Wegen – entlang des Treidelpfades am Grand Canal von Ebene C6 bis Ebene C7 informieren. Der Treidelpfad wird für die Dauer der geplanten Arbeiten gesperrt.
Diese Arbeiten sollen am Montag, den 19. November beginnen und werden 2 Wochen dauern.

Towpath Closure

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise its customers that the Royal Canal towpaths between Confey and Maynooth will be closed intermittently over the coming weeks to facilitate site investigation works.
Closures will be signed on site, but will be reopened at evenings and weekends.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused to its users.

Towpath Schließung
Waterways Ireland möchte seine Kunden darauf hinweisen, dass der Towpath des Royal Canal zwischen Confey und Maynooth in den kommenden Wochen zeitweise geschlossen werden, um die Erkundungsarbeiten zu erleichtern. Die Schließungen werden vor Ort vorgenommen, aber abends und am Wochenende wieder geöffnet.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die seinen Nutzern entstehen.
