Low water levels in all areas

Cautionary warning

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that low water levels exist in all areas of the Shannon Navigation.
Water levels are currently at or below “Ordinary Summer levels”.
Masters of vessels are requested to observe the 5km speed limits on the waterways to prevent squat in shallower areas.
Masters of vessels, particularly those with deep drafts, are advised to navigate with additional caution and to remain within the navigation at all times.

Niedrige Wasserstände in allen Gebieten, Warnhinweis
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass in allen Bereichen der Shannon Navigation niedrige Wasserstände herrschen.
Die Wasserstände liegen derzeit auf oder unter dem „Gewöhnlichen Sommerpegel“.
Die Kapitäne von Schiffen werden gebeten, die Geschwindigkeits-begrenzungen von 5 km auf den Wasserstraßen zu beachten, um ein Auflaufen in flacheren Bereichen zu verhindern.
Die Kapitäne von Schiffen, insbesondere von solchen mit großem Tiefgang, werden gebeten, zusätzliche Vorsicht walten zu lassen und jederzeit innerhalb der Navigation zu bleiben.

Canoe Polo Event

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify Masters and Owners of vessels that a canoe polo event will be taking place in the Kilcock Harbour area on Sunday 26 June 2022.
Waterways Ireland requests that the polo pitch areas and harbour be kept clear of all vessels at this time to facilitate the events.
Masters of vessels should comply with instructions from marshals.
Waterways Ireland thanks you for your cooperation.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darüber informieren, dass am Sonntag, den 26. Juni 2022, im Kilcock Harbour eine Kanupolo-Veranstaltung stattfinden wird.
Waterways Ireland bittet darum, dass die Poloplätze und der Hafen zu dieser Zeit von allen Schiffen freigehalten werden, um die Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen.
Die Kapitäne der Schiffe sollten den Anweisungen der Streckenposten Folge leisten. Waterways Ireland dankt Ihnen für Ihre Mitarbeit.

St Mullins,Angling Competition, 25 – 27 June 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that an angling competition will take place on 25/26/27th June 2022 in the St. Mullins area on the Barrow Navigation.
Masters of vessels are requested to proceed at slow speed and note any directions issued in the vicinity of the event.

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass am 25., 26. und 27. Juni 2022 im Gebiet von St. Mullins auf der Barrow Navigation ein Angelwettbewerb stattfinden wird.
Die Kapitäne von Schiffen werden gebeten, mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit zu fahren und alle Anweisungen zu beachten, die in der Nähe der Veranstaltung ausgegeben werden.
