Shannon Navigation – Lough Ree
Placement of Navigation Aid
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and users of the Shannon Navigation that a new green conical navigation aid has been placed North of Inch Macdermot Island, Lough Ree between the green perch and the green can buoy as shown on the guide below.

Shannon-Erne Waterway
Lock 2 Ballyconnell – Cloncoohy Bridge
Temporary Obstruction
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that a large tree has fallen partially into the navigation between Lock 2 Ballyconnell and Cloncoohy Bridge on the Shannon-Erne Waterway.
Temporary marker buoys have been installed around the obstruction and masters of vessels are requested to proceed with care in this area until the tree has been removed permanently from the navigation.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

GRAND CANAL
BARROW LINE CLOSURE
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters and Users of the Barrow line Navigation that the Barrow line at the 27th Lock, Athy, co.Kildare will be closed to boat traffic for 3 days from tuesday 20th june to thursday 24th june inclusive. The closure necesary in order to carry out repairs to the Harbour wall above the Lock Chamber.

SHANNON NAVIGATION
IWAI LOUGH DERG BOAT RALLY
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and users of the Shannon Navigation that the IWAI Lough Derg Boat Rally will take place from Sat 8 Jul until Sat 15 Jul on Lough Derg. During that period the Rally will itinerary will be as follows:
| Saturday 8t and Sunday 9th | Mountshannon |
| Monday 10thand Tuesday 11th | Scarriff. |
| Wednesday 12thand Thursday 13th | Terryglas |
| Friday14th July and Saturday15th | Dromineer. |
Vessels not participating in the rally may wish to seek alternative moorings on these dates.
