MARINE NOTICE, No. 13 of 2022

Royal Canal

Towpath Closure – Level 13 – East of Maynooth

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify users of the Royal Canal towpath from Lock 13, Deey Bridge to Pike Bridge, east of Maynooth, that this section of towpath has been closed to public use due to a flooding issue arising from a blocked culvert.
Waterways Ireland is working with Kildare County Council to resolve the issue as soon as possible and apologises to users for any inconvenience this may cause.

Royal Canal
Sperrung des Treidelpfades – Level 13 – östlich von Maynooth
Waterways Ireland möchte die Nutzer des Treidelpfades des Royal Canal von der Schleuse 13, Deey Bridge bis zur Pike Bridge, östlich von Maynooth, darüber informieren, dass dieser Abschnitt des Treidelpfades aufgrund eines Überschwemmungsproblems, das durch einen verstopften Wasserdurchlass verursacht wurde, für den öffentlichen Verkehr gesperrt wurde.
Waterways Ireland arbeitet mit dem Kildare County Council zusammen, um das Problem so schnell wie möglich zu beheben, und entschuldigt sich bei den Nutzern für alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können

Sallins, Towpath Closure

15 to 26 February 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the towpath on the South Bank of the Grand Canal adjacent to Church Avenue will be closed from 15th to 26th February 2022. This closure is to facilitate tree removal works for the new Greenway route.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused.

 Sallins, Sperrung des Treidelpfades, 15. bis 26. Februar 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte darauf hinweisen, dass der Treidelpfad am Südufer des Grand Canal in der Nähe der Church Avenue vom 15. bis 26. Februar 2022 gesperrt wird. Die Sperrung erfolgt, um Baumfällarbeiten für die neue Greenway-Route zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten.

Bellanaleck slipway

Closed until further notice

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Master of Vessels on the Erne System that Bellanaleck slipway is closed until further notice. A further Marine Notice will be issued when the slipway is reopened.
Waterways Ireland thanks all waterways users for their understanding in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass die Slipanlage am Public Anleger Bellanaleck bis auf weiteres geschlossen ist. Sobald die Slipanlage wieder geöffnet ist, wird eine weitere Bekanntmachung herausgegeben.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Wasserstraßenbenutzern für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

The Erne System

Temporary Closure, Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway will be closed for 1 week from August 23rd to 27th, for the realignment of jetty fingers. The electrical supply to bollards and pump out will be turned off during this period.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Vorübergehende Schließung, Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway vom 23. bis 27. August für eine Woche wegen der Neuausrichtung der Stegfinger geschlossen wird. Die Strom-versorgung der Poller und des Pumpwerks wird während dieser Zeit abgeschaltet.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlich-keiten.

Pollboy lock gates
Restricted operation until Saturday 24 July 2021
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels and users of the Shannon Navigation and River Suck that Pollboy lock gates are on restricted operation until Saturday 24 July 2021.
Vessels with a beam in excess of 12 feet will not be able to through the lock until AM Saturday 24 July 2021.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und Benutzer der Shannon Navigation und des River Suck darauf hinweisen, dass die Pollboy-Schleusentore bis Samstag, den 24. Juli 2021, nur eingeschränkt in Betrieb sind.
Schiffe mit einer Breite von mehr als 12 Fuß können bis Samstag, den 24. Juli 2021 vormittags nicht durch die Schleuse fahren.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.
