Lock 9 Kilclare to Lock 14 Drumduff

Planned Power Outage

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that from Lock 9 Kilclare to Lock 14 Drumduff inclusive on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be closed to boat traffic on Monday 10th September 2018 between 10am to 4pm.
The locks will remain closed during this period to facilitate a planned power outage by ESB.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Geplanter Stromausfall

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Besitzer von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass von Schleuse 9 Kilclare bis Schleuse 14 Drumduff inklusive auf dem Shannon-Erne-Wasserweg am Montag, den 10. September 2018 zwischen 10 und 16 Uhr für den Schiffsverkehr gesperrt wird.
Die Schleusen bleiben während dieser Zeit geschlossen, um einen geplanten Stromausfall der ESB zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies verursachen kann, und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Mitarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Lock 14 Drumduff

Intended closure for works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Lock 14 Drumduff on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be closed to boat traffic from Friday 25th November 2016 until the end of March 2017, weather permitting.
The lock will remain closed over the winter period to facilitate leakage remedial works to the lock chamber and associated infrastructure.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
