In river works for waste-water treatment plant Outfall pipe
From 7th May to 7th June 2024
Waterways Ireland wishes to inform Masters of vessels and users of the Shannon Navigation that in river works for the construction of a waste water treatment plant outfall pipe will take place from 7th May to 7th June 2024 downstream of Killaloe / Ballina.
Two isolated danger buoys will mark the extremity of the in river works which will extend from the Ballina side into the river for approx. 70 metres.
Masters of vessels are requested to proceed at slow speed (5 knots, no wash), with additional caution in the vicinity of the works and to follow the instructions of the safety boat crew.

Shannon Navigation, Killaloe und Ballina, Arbeiten im Fluss für die Kläranlage Abflussrohr, Vom 7. Mai bis 7. Juni 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Benutzer der Shannon Navigation darüber informieren, dass vom 7. Mai bis zum 7. Juni 2024 flussabwärts von Killaloe / Ballina Arbeiten für den Bau einer Abwasseraufbereitungsanlage stattfinden werden.
Zwei isolierte Gefahrenbojen werden das Ende der Arbeiten im Fluss markieren, die sich von der Ballina-Seite aus ca. 70 Meter in den Fluss hinein erstrecken werden.
Die Schiffsführer werden gebeten, mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit (5 Knoten, keine Waschanlage) zu fahren, in der Nähe der Arbeiten zusätzliche Vorsicht walten zu lassen und den Anweisungen der Sicherheitsbootbesatzung Folge zu leisten.
