Round ‘O’ and Carrybridge

Power bollards isolated for winter period

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform masters of vessels and waterway users that the power bollards at the Round ‘O’ and Carrybridge will be isolated on 4th November 2024 for the winter period. Power will be reconnected at the start of the 2025 boating season.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Erne System, Round ‚O‘ und Carrybridge, Strompoller für den Winter isoliert
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Nutzer der Wasserstraßen darüber informieren, dass die Strompoller an der Round ‚O‘ und der Carrybridge am 4. November 2024 für die Winterzeit abgeschaltet werden. Die Stromzufuhr wird zu Beginn der Bootssaison 2025 wiederhergestellt.
Waterways Ireland bedauert die damit verbundenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Operation of Portora Lock

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterway users on the Erne System that Portora Lock is in operation. During the locks operating times, a lockkeeper will be present and will complete the operation of the lock gates.
Portora Lock operating times are as follows:

      • 8.00am to 10.30pm 7 days a week when in operation.

Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation.

Erne System, Enniskillen, Betrieb des Portora Locks
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Wasserstraßenbenutzer auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass die Portora Schleuse in Betrieb ist. Während der Betriebszeiten der Schleuse wird ein Schleusenwärter anwesend sein und die Bedienung der Schleusentore übernehmen.
Die Betriebszeiten der Schleuse Portora sind wie folgt:

      • 8.00 Uhr bis 22.30 Uhr an 7 Tagen in der Woche, wenn sie in Betrieb ist.
