Royal Canal

Closure of towpath

Balroe Bridge to Ballynacarrigy Harbour

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise users of the Royal Canal that the South towpath between Balroe Bridge and Ballynacarrigy Harbour has been temporarily closed until February to facilitate necessary canal maintenance works.

Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused to its users.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Benutzer des Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass der südliche Treidelpfad zwischen Balroe-Brücke und Ballynacarrigy Harbour bis Februar vorübergehend geschlossen wurde, um die notwendigen Kanalunterhaltungsarbeiten zu erleichtern.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die seinen Fahrgästen entstehen.

Refurbishment of Jetties, December 2019

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users of refurbishment works that is scheduled to be undertaken at Terryglass Harbour starting Tuesday 3rd December, for a 3 week duration.
The works includes the refurbishment of the Waterways Ireland jetty and the removal and replacement of the timber fender along the full length of the harbour wall.
Any boats that are moored at these locations will be temporarily relocated for the duration of the works.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks all vessel owners for their co-operation.

Terryglass
Sanierung der Anlegestellen, Dezember 2019
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Wassernutzer über Renovierungsarbeiten informieren, die ab Dienstag, den 3. Dezember, für eine Dauer von 3 Wochen im Terryglass Harbour durchgeführt werden sollen.
Die Arbeiten umfassen die Sanierung des Waterways Ireland Stegs sowie die Entfernung und den Austausch des Holzfenders über die gesamte Länge der Hafenmauer.
Alle Boote, die an diesen Orten anlegen, werden für die Dauer der Arbeiten vorübergehend verlegt.

Royal Canal – Collins Bridge to Confey

Closure of Towpath

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise users of the Royal Canal that the towpath between Collins Bridge and Confey has been temporarily closed to the public use due to surface damage.
The towpath will re-open as soon as possible, when the surface is dry enough to allow repairs to be carried out.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused to its users.

Schließung des Treidelpfades
Waterways Ireland möchte die Benutzer des Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass der Treidelpfad zwischen Collins Bridge und Confey aufgrund von Oberflächenbeschädigungen vorübergehend für die öffentliche Nutzung gesperrt wurde.
Der Treidelpfad wird so schnell wie möglich wieder geöffnet, wenn die Oberfläche trocken genug ist, um Reparaturen durchführen zu können.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die den Benutzern entstehen.

GRAND CANAL

Closure at Ticknevin

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users of the Grand Canal that it intends to close the Grand Canal at the 20th Lock, Ticknevin, County Kildare to allow maintenance works to be carried out on the lock gates.

The closure will commence on the 25th November 2019 and will re-open on the 20th January 2020.

Waterways Ireland thanks it customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Schließung bei Ticknevin
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Benutzer des Canal Grande darauf hinweisen, dass WI beabsichtigt, den Canal Grande an der 20. Schleuse, Ticknevin, County Kildare, zu schließen, damit Wartungsarbeiten an den Schleusentoren durchgeführt werden können.
Die Schließung beginnt am 25. November 2019 und wird am 20. Januar 2020 wieder aufgenommen.

Closure of Locks for Staff Training Day on
Thursday 21 November 2019

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Claredon, Lough Allen Canal, Rooskey, Tarmonbarry and Clondra locks will all be closed on Thursday 21st November 2019 in order to facilitate Waterways Ireland staff training. Albert lock remains closed to facilitate lock gate replacement.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation.

Schließung der Schleusen für die Mitarbeiterschulung am Donnerstag den 21. November 2019
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Eigentümer von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass die Schleusen Claredon, Lough Allen Canal, Rooskey, Tarmonbarry und Clondra am Donnerstag, den 21. November 2019 geschlossen sein werden, um die Schulung des Personals von Waterways Ireland zu erleichtern. Das Albert-Lock bleibt geschlossen, um den Austausch des Schlosstores zu erleichtern.
Waterways Ireland bedauert die dadurch verursachten Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Besuchern und Gästen für die Zusammenarbeit.
