Tarmonbarry to Ballyleague

Navigation Closure. The Great River Swim, 0900hrs to 1400hrs on Sat 18 May 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and users of the Shannon Navigation that The Great River Swim will take place between Tarmonbarry and Ballyleague on Saturday 18 May 2024. Approx 500 swimmers will participate in the swim event.
The Shannon Navigation between Tarmonbarry lock and Ballyleague bridge will be closed from 0900hrs to 1400hrs on Saturday 18th May 2024. Tarmonbarry lock and Clondara canal lock will be closed from 0900hrs to 1400hrs. Vessels will be prohibited from proceeding upstream from Ballyleague bridge between 0900hrs to 1400hrs.
A series of large bright green and red buoys (branded with Gaelforce) will be positioned along the swim route on the evening of Friday 17th May 2024 and will be removed after the swim on Saturday 18th May 2024.

Tarmonbarry bis Ballyleague, Schließung der Navigation, für das Große Flussschwimmen
0900 Uhr bis 1400 Uhr am Samstag, 18. Mai 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Nutzer der Shannon Navigation darauf hinweisen, dass am Samstag, den 18. Mai 2024, zwischen Tarmonbarry und Ballyleague das Great River Swim stattfindet. Etwa 500 Schwimmer werden an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen.
Die Shannon Navigation zwischen der Tarmonbarry-Schleuse und der Ballyleague-Brücke wird am Samstag, den 18. Mai 2024, von 9.00 bis 14.00 Uhr gesperrt. Die Schleuse von Tarmonbarry und die Schleuse des Clondara-Kanals werden von 9.00 bis 14.00 Uhr geschlossen. Die stromaufwärts gerichtete Fahrt von der Ballyleague-Brücke ist zwischen 0900 und 1400 Uhr verboten.
Entlang der Schwimmstrecke werden am Freitag, den 17. Mai 2024, abends eine Reihe großer hellgrüner und roter Bojen (mit Gaelforce-Branding) aufgestellt, die nach dem Schwimmen am Samstag, den 18. Mai 2024, wieder entfernt werden.

Annual Fermanagh Fishing Classic 2024

28th April – 3rd May 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users that the Fermanagh Fishing Classic 2024 will take place on Lough Erne from Sunday 28th April to Friday 3rd May.
Waterways users are advised that the Castle/Museums and Henry Street jetties in Enniskillen, and the Tom’s Island jetty on Lower Lough Erne will be closed during the competition.

Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffsführer und Wasserstraßenbenutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Fermanagh Fishing Classic 2024 von Sonntag, 28. April, bis Freitag, 3. Mai, auf dem Lough Erne stattfinden wird.
Wasserstraßenbenutzer werden darauf hingewiesen, dass die Anlegestellen Castle/Museums und Henry Street in Enniskillen sowie die Anlegestelle Tom’s Island am Lower Lough Erne während des Wettbewerbs geschlossen sind.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Mitarbeit.

Tarmonbarry Lifting Bridge

Closure for maintenance until 29th April 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify masters of vessels and users Tarmonbarry Bridge will remain closed until Monday 29th April 2024 to facilitate essential maintenance works. Diversion route available via the Camlin River.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Shannon Navigation, Tarmonbarry Hebebrücke
Sperrung für Wartungsarbeiten bis 29. April 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Benutzer der Tarmonbarry-Brücke darüber informieren, dass die Brücke bis Montag, den 29. April 2024, wegen notwendiger Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen bleibt. Eine Umleitungsstrecke über den Camlin River ist verfügbar.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Closure of Henry Street Jetty on 21st – 26th April

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform masters of vessels and waterway users that the downstream section of the Henry Street Floating Jetty in Enniskillen will be closed from Sunday 21st to Friday 26th April. This is to accommodate the Mini Mahon’s Fishing Event.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer darüber informieren, dass der stromabwärts gelegene Teil des Schwimmstegs Henry Street in Enniskillen von Sonntag, den 21. bis Freitag, den 26. April geschlossen wird. Grund dafür ist das Mini Mahon’s Fishing Event.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Erne Predator Challenger, 13 & 14 April 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users that the Upper Lough Erne Predator Challenger – Boat Pike Fishing competition – will take place on 13 & 14 April 2024 from 0900hr – 1700hrs each day.
The event will take place from the Share Centre Activity Centre, Upper Lough Erne, with approx 50 Boats taking part.’Waterways users are reminded that Upper Lough Erne Slipways at Corradillar and Derryadd will be busy with fishing boats launching for event.
Masters are requested to keep wash to a minimum when passing fishing vessels.

Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßennutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Upper Lough Erne Predator Challenger – ein Wettbewerb im Hechtfischen – am 13. und 14. April 2024 jeweils von 9.00 bis 17.00 Uhr stattfinden wird.
Die Veranstaltung findet vom Share Centre Activity Centre, Upper Lough Erne, statt, und es werden etwa 50 Boote teilnehmen.
Die Nutzer der Wasserstraßen werden darauf hingewiesen, dass die Slipways des Upper Lough Erne in Corradillar und Derryadd mit Fischerbooten besetzt sein werden, die für die Veranstaltung zu Wasser gelassen werden.
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, bei der Vorbeifahrt an Fischereifahrzeugen den Waschvorgang auf ein Minimum zu beschränken.
