Grand Canal
Cambell’s Bridge Event – 31st May 2015
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that there will be an open day on the waterways at the junction of the Grand Canal and the Old Kilbeggan Canal Line on 31st May 2015 organised by Ballycommon Canal Renewal Group.
It is requested that the area directly South of Cambell’s Bridge be kept clear of moorings to facilitate small boating events.
Masters and owners of vessels operating in the area should comply with guidance instructions from event officials.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the Clondra Community Festival will take place in Clondra between 29th and 31st May 2015.
There will be various water based activities taking place in the harbour area.
Masters of vessels transiting or operating in the area should do so with care.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the large Red navigation buoy No. 3, marking Cornamisseog Rocks and East of Kilmore Bay is reported adrift and last seen headed in a northerly direction.
Masters are requested to keep a sharp look-out and navigate with due caution.
