MARINE NOTICE, No. 25 of 2023

Canal Closure – Kylemore Road (Lock 5) to Grand Canal Dock – April 12-15, 2023

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and users of the Grand Canal in Dublin that the Grand Canal between Kylemore Road (Lock 5) through to Grand Canal Dock will be closed from the 12th to the 15th of April inclusive. This closure is to facilitate the visit of President Biden to Ireland.
Waterways Ireland thanks Master of Vessels and canal users for their understanding in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Benutzer des Grand Canal in Dublin darauf hinweisen, dass der Grand Canal zwischen der Kylemore Road („Lock 5“) und dem Grand Canal Dock vom 12. bis einschließlich 15. April geschlossen sein wird. Diese Sperrung soll den Besuch von Präsident Biden in Irland ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland dankt den Schiffsführern und Kanalbenutzern für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

Navigation Restrictions

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that in order to facilitate activities associated with the Dublin Dockland Festival in the Grand Canal Basin on Sat 17th and Sun 18th May 2014 vessel movement through General Mahon bridge will be restricted between 1000hrs and 1800 hrs on both dates.
Any vessel wishing to move should first contact the Dock Superintendent on 00353872584713.
