Tarmonbarry Bridge and Lock

Advisory Notice

Diving Operations – Thursday 17th August

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify masters of vessels and Waterways users that there will be diving activities taking place in the river around Tarmonbarry Bridge, Lock and quay tomorrow.
The bridge and Lock will remain open but delays may be expected. Masters of vessels can divert via the Camlin River if desired.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Ankündigung, Taucherarbeiten – Donnerstag, 17. August
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Benutzer der Wasserstraßen darauf hinweisen, dass morgen im Bereich der Tarmonbarry-Brücke, der Schleuse und des Kais Tauchaktivitäten stattfinden werden.
Die Brücke und die Schleuse werden geöffnet bleiben, aber es kann zu Verzögerungen kommen. Die Kapitäne der Schiffe können auf Wunsch über den Camlin River ausweichen.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and water users that Tarmonbarry Lock is has reopened after emergency repair works.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffskapitäne und Wasserbenutzer darüber informieren, dass die Tarmonbarry-Schleuse nach dringenden Reparatur-arbeiten wieder geöffnet ist.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten und bedankt sich bei seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation.

Tarmonbarry Lock

Closure due to emergency works
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and water users that Tarmonbarry Lock is closed with immediate effect until further notice, due to emergency repair works.
An alternative route via the Camlin River is available. Masters of vessels and water users are advised to check their airdraft prior to undertaking the passage on the Camlin River due to the low bridge on the N5 road.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and wishes to thank its customers for their cooperation.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffskapitäne und Wassernutzer darauf hinweisen, dass Tarmonbarry Lock wegen dringender Reparaturarbeiten mit sofortiger Wirkung bis auf Weiteres geschlossen ist.
Eine alternative Route über den Camlin River ist verfügbar. Schiffskapitäne und Wassernutzer werden gebeten, vor der Durchfahrt auf dem Camlin River ihre airdraft zu überprüfen, da die Brücke über die N5 niedrig ist.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten und bedankt sich bei seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation.

Tarmonbarry Lock

Intended closure for works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Tarmonbarry Lock will be closed to boating traffic from Tues 6 Oct until to Fri 23 Oct to facilitate remedial works to the lock gates.
During the works, vessels may circumnavigate the lock using the Camlin River, entering or leaving the Shannon 3km north of Tarmonbarry and similarly at Clondra Lock, immediately south of Tarmonbarry .
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
