Closure of Killaloe Canal for essential Maintenance Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the 450m long section of the Killaloe Canal between Killaloe road bridge and the control gate structure upstream will be closed from 14 May to 30 June 2018 to allow lowering of the water level in the canal to facilitate essential maintenance works.

All vessels should be removed on, or before, Monday 14 May 2018.

Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation.

 Schließung des Killaloe-Canals für notwendige Wartungsarbeiten
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Eigner von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass der 450 m lange Abschnitt des Killaloe Kanals zwischen der Killaloe Straßenbrücke und der Kontrolltorstruktur stromaufwärts vom 14. Mai bis zum 30. Juni 2018 geschlossen wird, um eine Absenkung des Wasserspiegels im Kanal zu ermöglichen, um wesentliche Wartungsarbeiten zu erleichtern.
Alle Boote sollten am oder vor Montag, dem 14. Mai 2018, entfernt werden.

 

Waterways Ireland bedauert die dadurch entstehenden Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für die Zusammenarbeit.

Completion of Works at Portna Lock

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all water users that essential maintenance works at Portna Locks have been completed, the navigation is now open and operational.

Waterways Ireland wishes to thank their customers for their cooperation in relation to this matter.

Fertigstellung der Arbeiten an der Portna Schleuse
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Gewässerbesucher darauf hinweisen, dass die wesentlichen Wartungsarbeiten an den Schleusen von Portna abgeschlossen sind, die Schifffahrt ist nun offen und betriebsbereit.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Installation of new activity Hub at Regal Pass

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all water users that:

Work will commence on Thurs 26 April 2018 at Regal Pass, Erne System to install floating pontoons and gangway. The work will continue until Friday 04 May 2018.
The 20 Meters of Jetty next to the Activity Hub at Regal Pass Jetty is reserved to allow access for the floating pontoons / barges.
Mooring is not permitted at this location during this period.
Signage has been installed at the Jetty location regarding the works on the navigation.
Waterways Ireland wishes to thank their customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Installation eines neuen Aktivitätenzentrums am Regal Pass
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Wasserwegnutzer darauf hinweisen:
Die Arbeiten beginnen am 26. April 2018 am Regal Pass, Erne System zur Installation von Schwimmpontons und Gangway. Die Arbeiten werden bis Freitag, 04. Mai 2018, fortgesetzt.
Der 20 Meter lange Steg neben dem Activity Hub am Regal Pass Jetty ist reserviert, um den Zugang für die schwimmenden Pontons / Bargen zu ermöglichen.
Während dieser Zeit ist das Anlegen an diesem Ort nicht erlaubt.
Für die Arbeiten an der Schiffsanlegestelle wurde eine Beschilderung installiert.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen, Besuchern und Kunden für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.
