Closure of Killaloe Canal for essential Maintenance Works.
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the 450m long section of the Killaloe Canal between Killaloe road bridge and the control gate structure upstream will be closed from 24th September to 5th November 2018 to allow lowering of the water level in the canal to facilitate essential maintenance works to the adjacent canal wall. All vessels should be removed on, or before, Monday 24th September 2018.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation.

Schließung des Killaloe-Kanals für wesentliche Instandhaltungsarbeiten.
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Schiffseigner davon in Kenntnis setzen, dass der 450 m lange Teil des Killaloe-Kanals zwischen der Killaloe-Straßenbrücke und der stromaufwärts gelegenen Kontrolltorstruktur vom 24. September bis zum 5. November 2018 geschlossen wird, um eine Absenkung des Wasserspiegels im Kanal zu ermöglichen und so wesentliche Wartungsarbeiten an der angrenzenden Kanalwand zu erleichtern.
Alle Schiffe sollten am oder vor Montag, dem 24. September 2018, abgeholt werden.
