Head of the Shannon rowing event 07 December 2019
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that the Head of the Shannon rowing event will take place on Saturday 7th December 2019.
The event will take place downstream of Carrick on Shannon bridge for a distance of 3.5km. The rowing starts at navigation maker known locally as White Woman/White Lady 3.5KM downstream of Carrick on Shannon and will proceed back to the Marina downstream of Bridge.
The rowing events will take place at 11am and at 2pm.
Masters of vessels are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of the rowing events.
Waterways Ireland thanks vessel owners for their co-operation.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Wassernutzer darüber informieren, dass der Head of the Shannon Ruder-Event am Samstag, den 7. Dezember 2019 stattfinden wird.
Die Veranstaltung findet stromabwärts von Carrick auf der Shannon-Brücke über eine Distanz von 3,5 km statt. Das Rudern beginnt bei einem Navigations Marker, der lokal als White Woman/White Lady 3,5KM stromabwärts von Carrick auf Shannon bekannt ist, und geht zurück zur Marina stromabwärts von Bridge.
Die Ruder-Events finden um 11 Uhr und um 14 Uhr statt.
Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden gebeten, in der Nähe der Ruderereignisse mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht vorzugehen.
