Grand Canal – 29th Level Re-Opened
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels that repair works to address a complex leak on the 29th Level of the Grand Canal have been completed ahead of schedule, and this section of the canal has now reopened to navigation.
Waterways Ireland thanks all canal users for their patience during the closure. Such works are essential to ensure the functional preservation of these important heritage structures.

Ausgestellt: 21. Oktober 2025, Grand Canal – 29. Level wieder geöffnet
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen darüber informieren, dass die Reparaturarbeiten zur Behebung eines komplexen Lecks auf dem 29. Level des Grand Canal vorzeitig abgeschlossen wurden und dieser Abschnitt des Kanals nun wieder für die Schifffahrt geöffnet ist.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Kanalnutzern für ihre Geduld während der Sperrung. Solche Arbeiten sind unerlässlich, um die Funktionsfähigkeit dieser wichtigen historischen Bauwerke zu erhalten.
