Erne System
Reserved Jetty Use for Angling Events
Issued: 10 April 2026
Waterways Ireland advises masters of vessels and participants in planned events that the following jetties on the Erne System will be reserved for organised angling events:
Mini Mahons Fishing Festival – Sunday 19 April 2026 to Friday 24 April 2026

- Broad Meadow (Castle Jetty – right-hand side, closest to the Castle)
- Round ‘O’ Jetty – outer leaf (one peg)
- Carrick Reagh Jetty (Ely Lodge)

Fermanagh Fishing Classic – Sunday 26 April 2026 to Friday 1 May 2026

- Round ‘O’ Jetty, Enniskillen (outer leaf, one side)
- Sligo Road (Henry Street) Jetties, Enniskillen
- Enniskillen Castle Jetties
- Tom’s Island Jetty (near Castle Archdale)

Masters of Vessels & angliers should note:

- These events will involve participants fishing from the designated jetty locations.
- Listed jetties will be reserved for event use during the stated periods.
- Vessel access and mooring at these locations will not be permitted during event hours.
- Master of vessels should note that fishing lines will be present in the water adjacent to the jetties during these events.
- Fishing from Waterways Ireland jetties has priority only during these formally approved events.
- Outside of these dates, vessels have priority over fishing activity.
- Signage will be in place to indicate that the jetties are reserved and closed to public mooring.
- Any conflicts arising outside of these periods should be reported to the Erne Inspectorate.

Waterways Ireland weist Schiffskapitäne und Teilnehmer an geplanten Veranstaltungen darauf hin, dass die folgenden Anlegestellen im Erne-System für organisierte Angelveranstaltungen reserviert sind:

- Round ‘O’ Jetty – äußerer Arm (ein Angelplatz)
- Carrick Reagh Jetty (Ely Lodge)

Fermanagh Fishing Classic – Sonntag, 26. April 2026 bis Freitag, 1. Mai 2026

- Round ‘O’ Jetty, Enniskillen (äußerer Teil, eine Seite)
- Sligo Road (Henry Street) Jetties, Enniskillen
- Enniskillen Castle Jetties
- Tom’s Island Jetty (in der Nähe von Castle Archdale)

Hinweis für Schiffsführer und Angler:

- Bei diesen Veranstaltungen angeln die Teilnehmer von den ausgewiesenen Anlegestellen aus.
- Die aufgeführten Anlegestellen sind während der angegebenen Zeiträume für die Veranstaltung reserviert.
- Das Anlaufen und Anlegen von Booten an diesen Stellen ist während der Veranstaltungszeiten nicht gestattet.
- Schiffsführer sollten beachten, dass sich während dieser Veranstaltungen
- Angelschnüre im Wasser in der Nähe der Anlegestellen befinden.
- Das Angeln von den Stegen von Waterways Ireland hat nur während dieser offiziell genehmigten Veranstaltungen Vorrang.
- Außerhalb dieser Termine haben Boote Vorrang vor Angeltätigkeiten.
- Es werden Schilder aufgestellt, die darauf hinweisen, dass die Stege reserviert und für das Anlegen durch die Öffentlichkeit gesperrt sind.
- Konflikte, die außerhalb dieser Zeiträume auftreten, sollten der Erne-Inspektion gemeldet werden.
