Update – Grand Canal – Navigation Blocked at Pollagh – 19 March 2025
Waterways Ireland advises masters of vessels that navigation on the Grand Canal at Pollagh, west of Tullamore, has now fully reopened following the successful removal of a vehicle from the waterway.
Waterways Ireland appreciates the cooperation and patience of waterway users during this incident.

Update – Grand Canal – Schifffahrt in Pollagh blockiert – 19. März 2025
Waterways Ireland teilt den Schiffsführern mit, dass die Schifffahrt auf dem Grand Canal bei Pollagh, westlich von Tullamore, nach der erfolgreichen Entfernung eines Fahrzeugs von der Wasserstraße nun wieder vollständig geöffnet ist.
Waterways Ireland bedankt sich für die Kooperation und Geduld der Wasserwegbenutzer während dieses Vorfalls.
