Shannon-Erne Waterway (SEW)

Lock 4 Aghoo

Intended Closure for Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Lock 4 Aghoo on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be closed to boat traffic from Monday 7th January 2019 until the end of March 2109, weather permitting.
The lock will remain closed over the winter period to facilitate remedial works to the lock gates and associated lock infrastructure.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Lock 4 Aghoo, Geplanter Abschluss für Bauarbeiten
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Besitzer von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass die Schleuse 4 Aghoo auf dem Shannon-Erne-Wasserweg vom Montag, den 7. Januar 2019 bis Ende März 2109 für den Bootsverkehr gesperrt sein wird, wenn das Wetter es zulässt.
Das Schleusensystem wird über den Winter geschlossen bleiben, um Sanierungsarbeiten an den Schleusentoren und der dazugehörigen Schleuseninfrastruktur zu erleichtern.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies verursachen kann, und dankt seinen Besuchern für ihre Mitarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

SHANNON NAVIGATION

Public Moorings – Electrical Power and Water Supply during Winter Period

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise customers that electricity supply to power pedestals and the supply of water to taps on public moorings will be disconnected during the winter period for environmental and reduced maintenance cost reasons.
These services will be restored prior to the commencement of the 2019 boating season. A further Marine Notice will issue at that time.

Öffentliche Liegeplätze – Strom- und Wasserversorgung im Winterhalbjahr
Waterways Ireland möchte die Benutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Stromversorgung von Power-Podesten und die Wasserversorgung von Zapfstellen an öffentlichen Liegeplätzen während der Wintermonate aus ökologischen und reduzierten Wartungskostengründen unterbrochen werden.
Diese Dienste werden vor Beginn der Bootssaison 2019 wiederhergestellt. Eine weitere Marine-Bekanntmachung wird zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlicht.

Towpath Closure – Extension of Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users of the Grand Canal, Circular Line, Dublin, that Marine Notice 124 of 2018 has been extended until 7 December 2018.

ROYAL CANAL

Towpath Closure – Kilcock 16th Level

Waterways Ireland wishes to advice all users of the Royal Canal, 16th Level, of planned works – Kilcock Overflow on the 16th level Royal Canal.
The towpath will be closed at Fern’s Lock. Access to towpath will be available from Kilcock 16th lock West for approx.1km.
The towpath will be closed for the duration of the planned works.
These works are due to commence Wednesday 28th November 2018 and will continue until end of February 2019.

Treidelpfad Schließung – Kilcock 16th Level
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Nutzer des Royal Canal, 16. Stufe, über geplante Arbeiten – Kilcock Overflow auf dem Royal Canal, 16. Stufe – informieren.
Der Treidelpfad wird an der Fern’s Lock geschlossen. Der Zugang zum Treidelpfad ist ab der 16. Schleuse Kilcock West für ca. 1 km möglich. Der Treidelpfad wird für die Dauer der geplanten Arbeiten gesperrt. Diese Arbeiten sollen am Mittwoch, den 28. November 2018 beginnen und bis Ende Februar 2019 dauern.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Benutzern für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Grand Canal, Circular Line Dublin

Towpath Closure

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users of the Grand Canal, Circular Line, Dublin, of planned works – towpath refurbishment – along the Grand Canal towpath from Level C6 to Level C7 metro line. The towpath will be closed for the duration of the planned works.
These works are due to commence Monday 19th November and will continue for 2 weeks.

Treidelpfad Schließung
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Nutzer des Grand Canal, Circular Line, Dublin, über geplante Arbeiten – Sanierung von Wegen – entlang des Treidelpfades am Grand Canal von Ebene C6 bis Ebene C7 informieren. Der Treidelpfad wird für die Dauer der geplanten Arbeiten gesperrt.
Diese Arbeiten sollen am Montag, den 19. November beginnen und werden 2 Wochen dauern.
