LEITRIM VILLAGE TO DRUMSHAMBO BLUEWAY

TONY McGOWAN RUN – Sunday 17 February 2019

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the annual Tony McGowan road race will take place on Sunday 17th February 2019 on the Blueway between Leitrim Village and Drumshanbo between 10am and 5pm. There will be large volumes of both runners and walkers present. All navigation users are requested to proceed with due care.

TONY McGOWAN RUN – Sonntag 17. Februar 2019
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass das jährliche Tony McGowan Straßenrennen am Sonntag, den 17. Februar 2019 auf dem Blueway zwischen Leitrim Village und Drumshanbo zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr stattfinden wird. Es wird eine große Anzahl von Läufern und Wanderern anwesend sein. Alle Navigationsbenutzer werden gebeten, mit der gebotenen Sorgfalt vorzugehen.

Additorial Navigational Markers at:

Fed Head & Hare Island

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that two additional navigation aids have been installed on Lough Ree.
A red Conical has been installed on the North side of Hare Island and a green conical has been installed on the West side of Fat Head Island. See chartlet below for locations of additional navigation aids.

Zusätzliche Navigationsmarkierungen auf Fed Head & Hare Island
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Schiffseigentümer darauf hinweisen, dass zwei zusätzliche Navigationshilfen am Lough Ree installiert wurden.
Ein roter Marker wurde auf der Nordseite von Hare Island und ein grüner Marker auf der Westseite von Fat Head Island installiert. Die Positionen der zusätzlichen Navigationshilfen finden Sie in der oben angezeigten Karten, wenn Sie das Bild anklicken.
PS: Die Koordinaten für die neuen Navigationsmarker auf dem Lough Ree basieren auf dem IrishTtransverse Mercator(ITM) Grid (Danke an WI für diese Information):

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Jamestown Canal will be closed from 11 February 2019 for two weeks due to essential maintenance works being carried out.

Jamestown Kanal – Wird wegen notwendiger Wartung ab 11. Februar 2019 für 2 Wochen geschlossen.
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Schiffseigentümer darauf hinweisen, dass der Jamestown-Kanal ab dem 11. Februar 2019 für zwei Wochen geschlossen sein wird, da grundlegende Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt werden.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.
