Gortmore Point – Green H Buoy off station and adrift

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that the Green H Buoy buoy at Gortmore Point is off station and adrift near Terryglass.
Masters of vessels and water users are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity Gortmore Point and Terryglass.
Waterways Ireland thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Gortmore Point – Grüne H Boje weg vom Standort und treibend
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Wassersportlern darauf hinweisen, dass sich die Green H Booy Boje am Gortmore Point außerhalb des Standorts befindet und bei Terryglass treibend ist.
Schiffsführer und Wassersportler werden gebeten, in der Nähe von Gortmore Point und Terryglass mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht vorzugehen.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Schiffseignern und Betreibern für ihre Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all users of the Barrow Navigation, that a Dragon Boat regatta will take place in Carlow Town Park, Graiguecullen from 10.00hrs until 1600hrs on Sunday 24th March 2019.
Masters of other craft are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash and note any directions issued by the stewards.
Waterways Ireland thanks it customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Benutzer der Barrow Navigation darauf hinweisen, dass am Sonntag, den 24. März 2019 von 10.00 Uhr bis 1600 Uhr eine Drachenboot-Regatta im Carlow Town Park, Graiguecullen, stattfinden wird.
Die Kapitäne anderer Schiffe werden gebeten, mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und mit minimalem Wellengang vorzugehen und alle Anweisungen der Stewards zu beachten.

Inspection & survey of Bord na Mona Railway Bridge

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that the following inspection & survey works will be carried out on the Bord na Mona railway bridge south of Shannon Bridge.

- Inspection of bridge with underbridge truck unit from 19th to 21st March.
- Survey of river channel by boat from 19th to 20th March.
- A safety boat will be in the water at all times.

Masters of vessels and water users are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of this work.
Waterways Ireland thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Inspektion und Begehung der Bord na Mona Eisenbahnbrücke
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Schiffsbesitzern darüber informieren, dass die folgenden Inspektions- und Vermessungs-arbeiten an der Eisenbahnbrücke Bord na Mona südlich der Shannon Bridge durchgeführt werden.

- Inspektion der Brücke mit Unterbrücken-LKW-Einheit vom 19. bis 21. März.
- Vermessung des Flusskanals mit dem Boot vom 19. bis 20. März.
- Ein Sicherheitsboot wird immer im Wasser sein

Schiffsführer und Wassernutzer werden gebeten, in der Nähe dieser Arbeiten mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht vorzugehen.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Schiffseignern und Betreibern für ihre Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Locks Closed on Monday 4TH March 2019

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Poolboy lock, Athlone lock, Victoria lock and Portumna Bridge will be will closed on Monday 4th March 2019 to facilitate staff training.

Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks its customers for their cooperation in relation to this matter.

Locks geschlossen am Monday 4. März 2019
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass die Poolboy-Schleuse, die Athlone-Schleuse, die Victoria-Schleuse und die Portumna-Brücke am Montag, den 4. März 2019 geschlossen sein werden, um die Schulung des Personals zu erleichtern.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unan-nehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Enniskillen Castle

New Jetty Installation

Thursday 28th February for 6 weeks

Masters and owners are advised that a new jetty facility is being installed at Enniskillen Castle from Thursday 28th February 2019 for a period of 6 weeks.

Masters of vessels are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when passing this stretch of the navigation and to heed any advice or instructions issued by Waterways Ireland Wardens. Masters of vessels are requested to use the west channel around Castle Island where possible for the duration of the works.

Neue Jetty-Installation, Donnerstag 28. Februar für 6 Wochen
Kapitäne und Schiffseigentümer werden darauf hingewiesen, dass ab Donnerstag, den 28. Februar 2019 für einen Zeitraum von 6 Wochen eine neue Anlegestelle auf Enniskillen Castle installiert wird.
Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden gebeten, beim Passieren dieses Abschnitts der Navigation mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und minimalem Wellengang vorzugehen und alle Ratschläge oder Anweisungen der Waterways Ireland Wardens zu befolgen. Schiffsführer werden gebeten, den Westkanal um Castle Island herum nach Möglichkeit für die Dauer der Arbeiten zu nutzen.
