Canoe Polo Event

Royal Canal – Mullingar

Issued: 30 January 2026

Waterway users of the Royal Canal are advised that a Canoe Polo event will take place in Mullingar Harbour on Saturday 7 February 2026 and Sunday 8 February 2026, between 0730hrs and 1400hrs on both days.

Waterway users are requested to proceed with caution when approaching the event area and to co-operate with instructions issued by event marshals.

Notice Nr. 11, Kanu-Polo-Veranstaltung – RC Mullingar: 30. Januar 2026
Die Nutzer der Wasserstraße Royal Canal werden darauf hingewiesen, dass am Samstag, dem 7. Februar 2026, und Sonntag, dem 8. Februar 2026, jeweils zwischen 7:30 Uhr und 14:00 Uhr im Hafen von Mullingar eine Kanu-Polo-Veranstaltung stattfindet.
Wassersportler werden gebeten, sich dem Veranstaltungsort mit Vorsicht zu nähern und den Anweisungen der Veranstaltungsmitarbeiter Folge zu leisten.
Waterways Ireland bedankt sich für die Zusammenarbeit aller Wassersportler und dankt Ihnen für Ihre Mithilfe bei der Gewährleistung einer sicheren und erfolgreichen Veranstaltung.

Canoe Polo Event – 12th to 14th July 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and waterways users of the Royal Canal that a canoe polo event will be taking place in Kilcock Harbour from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2024.
In order to facilitate the event, navigation in this area will be very restricted. Vessels should move away from any of the moorings in the harbour area for the duration of the event and will only be able to navigate past the event if allowed to proceed by the event organisers between event activities through prior arrangement.
Masters of vessels are therefore requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of the event and to obey any instructions given by event stewards.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffsführer und Wasserstraßenbenutzer des Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass von Freitag, den 12. bis Sonntag, den 14. Juli 2024 im Kilcock Harbour eine Kanupolo-Veranstaltung stattfinden wird.
Um die Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen, wird die Schifffahrt in diesem Gebiet stark eingeschränkt sein. Die Schiffe sollten sich für die Dauer der Veranstaltung von allen Liegeplätzen im Hafengebiet entfernen und können nur dann an der Veranstaltung vorbeifahren, wenn die Organisatoren die Weiterfahrt zwischen den Veranstaltungen nach vorheriger Absprache erlauben.
Die Kapitäne von Schiffen werden daher gebeten, in der Nähe der Veranstaltung zusätzliche Vorsicht walten zu lassen und allen Anweisungen der Veranstaltungsleiter Folge zu leisten.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Canoe Polo Event

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify Masters and Owners of vessels that a canoe polo event will be taking place in the Kilcock Harbour area on Sunday 26 June 2022.
Waterways Ireland requests that the polo pitch areas and harbour be kept clear of all vessels at this time to facilitate the events.
Masters of vessels should comply with instructions from marshals.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darüber informieren, dass am Sonntag, den 26. Juni 2022, im Kilcock Harbour eine Kanupolo-Veranstaltung stattfinden wird.
Waterways Ireland bittet darum, dass die Poloplätze und der Hafen zu dieser Zeit von allen Schiffen freigehalten werden, um die Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen.
Die Kapitäne der Schiffe sollten den Anweisungen der Streckenposten Folge leisten. Waterways Ireland dankt Ihnen für Ihre Mitarbeit.
