Emergency repairs to Overheard Power Lines, Sat 25th March 2023

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of vessels and water users that emergency overhead line repair works are planned between Castle Island and the West Shoreline on Saturday 25th March 2023 from 1000hrs to 1500hrs.
To enable the repair works to be completed, the navigation channel between Castle Island and the West Shoreline of the River Erne will be temporarily closed on Saturday 25th March 2023 from 1000hrs to 1500hrs.
There will be safety boats in place for the duration of the repair works. The navigation channel between Castle Island and the East Shoreline will remain open.
Waterways Ireland thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Notreparaturen an überlasteten Stromleitungen, Samstag, 25. März 2023,
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und Wasserwegebenutzer darauf hinweisen, dass am Samstag, den 25. März 2023 von 1000 bis 1500 Uhr zwischen Castle Island und der West Shoreline Notreparaturen an Freileitungen geplant sind.
Damit die Reparaturarbeiten abgeschlossen werden können, wird die Fahrrinne zwischen Castle Island und dem Westufer des Erne am Samstag, den 25. März 2023 von 1000 bis 1500 Uhr vorübergehend geschlossen.
Für die Dauer der Reparaturarbeiten werden Sicherheitsboote vor Ort sein. Die Fahrrinne zwischen Castle Island und dem Ostufer bleibt offen.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Schiffseignern und -betreibern für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Inishkeen (Downstream of Bellanaleck) to Enniskillen Royal Boat Club

Four Heads of the River rowing race, Sat 19th November 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterway users on the Erne System that the Fours Head of The River Rowing Race, organised by Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, will take place on Saturday 19th November 2022.
The race will start at Inishkeen (Downstream of Bellanaleck) at 0900hrs and finish at Enniskillen Royal Boat Club at 1600hrs.
All Masters of vessels please ensure that the course is kept clear during racing and adhere to all marshalls and organisers requests over the race day.

Royal Boat Club, Ruderregatta „Four Heads of the River“, Samstag, 19. November 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Benutzer des Erne-Systems darauf hinweisen, dass das von der Enniskillen Royal Grammar School organisierte Fours Head of the River Rowing Race am Samstag, den 19. November 2022, stattfinden wird. Die Regatta beginnt in Inishkeen (stromabwärts von Bellanaleck) um 0900 Uhr und endet im Enniskillen Royal Boat Club um 1600 Uhr.
Alle Schiffsführer werden gebeten, dafür zu sorgen, dass die Strecke während des Rennens frei bleibt, und allen Aufforderungen der Marshalls und des Veranstalters am Renntag Folge zu leisten.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Mitarbeit.

Castle and Henry St jetties – temporary closures

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterway users on the Erne System that the Castle and Henry St jetties in Enniskillen will be closed to mooring for the following periods to facilitate the Erne Classic coarse fishing competition:

    • Monday 9th May, 07:00 – 19:00hrs
    • Wednesday 11th May, 07:00hrs – 19:00hrs
    • Friday 13th May, 07:00hrs – 17:00hrs

Castle und Henry St Anlegestellen – vorübergehende Schließungen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Wasserstraßenbenutzer des Erne-Systems darauf hinweisen, dass die Anlegestellen Castle und Henry St in Enniskillen in den folgenden Zeiträumen für den Anlegeverkehr geschlossen werden, um den Erne Classic Wettbewerb im Grobfischfang zu ermöglichen:

    • Montag, 9. Mai, 07:00 – 19:00 Uhr
    • Mittwoch, 11. Mai, 07:00 Uhr – 19:00 Uhr
    • Freitag, 13. Mai, 07:00 Uhr – 17:00 Uhr

Enniskillen, Round ‘O’ Slipway

Works to slipway entrance –
12th to 15th April 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users on the Erne System that remedial works on the entrance to the Round ‘O’ Slipway are planned from 08:00hrs Tuesday 12th April to 07:00hrs Friday 15th April inclusive.

Access to Round ‘O’ Slipway will not be possible during these works.

Arbeiten an der Einfahrt zur Slipanlage – 12. bis 15. April 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass von Dienstag, den 12. April um 08:00 Uhr bis einschließlich Freitag, den 15. April um 07:00 Uhr Sanierungsarbeiten an der Einfahrt zur Round ‚O‘ Slipway geplant sind.
Der Zugang zur Round ‚O‘ Slipway wird während dieser Arbeiten nicht möglich sein.

Electric Shore Power at Round O

and Carrybridge

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise its customers that the metered electric power supply at the Round O and Carrybridge moorings on the Erne System will be turned off over the winter months for environmental and reduced maintenance cost reasons.
The shore power supply will be discontinued from 31st October 2017 for the Winter Season.
