Essential Repairs
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and users of the Shannon Navigation that essential repairs will be undertaken at Albert Lock tomorrow which will cause some minor delays.

Barrow Navigation
Bagnelstown Lock
Essential Repairs
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that that The Barrow Navigation will be closed at Bagenalstown Lock from Monday 22nd September 2014 until the end of February 2015. A dam is to be placed in position in the navigation channel about 150 meters downstream of Bagenalstown Lock. This is to facilitate a contractor carrying out essential wall repairs.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.
