IWAI Shannon Boat Rally 2026

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and all waterway users that the IWAI Shannon Boat Rally will take place at the following locations:

- Saturday 25 July. Fleet gathers in Lanesborough
- Sunday 26 July. Fleet moves to Portrunny for two nights
- Tuesday 28 July. Fleet moves to Hudson Bay
- Wednesday 29 July. Fleet moves to Shannonbridge for two nights
- Friday 31 July. Fleet moves to Hot Springs (weather permitting) for three nights in Shannonbridge
- Saturday 1-3 August. Fleet moves to Athlone Town Marina and rests for two nights

A significant number of rally vessels are expected to be present at these locations throughout the event. Where practicable, Masters of Vessels not participating in the rally are kindly requested to accommodate visiting rally vessels seeking berthing at the identified locations.
All waterway users are requested to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the rally flotilla and event locations, where vessel movements and traffic levels may be higher than normal.

Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und alle Nutzer der Wasserstraßen darauf hinweisen, dass die IWAI Shannon Boat Rally an folgenden Orten stattfindet:

- Samstag, 25. Juli. Die Flotte versammelt sich in Lanesborough
- Sonntag, 26. Juli. Die Flotte fährt nach Portrunny, wo sie zwei Nächte verbleibt
- Dienstag, 28. Juli. Die Flotte fährt nach Hudson Bay
- Mittwoch, 29. Juli. Die Flotte fährt nach Shannonbridge, wo sie zwei Nächte verbleibt
- Freitag, 31. Juli. Die Flotte fährt nach Hot Springs (sofern das Wetter es zulässt) und verbleibt drei Nächte in Shannonbridge
- Samstag, 1.–3. August. Die Flotte fährt zur Athlone Town Marina und legt dort zwei Nächte lang an

Es wird erwartet, dass während der gesamten Veranstaltung eine beträchtliche Anzahl von Rallye-Schiffen an diesen Orten anwesend sein wird. Soweit möglich, werden die Kapitäne von Schiffen, die nicht an der Rallye teilnehmen, freundlich gebeten, den an den genannten Orten anlegenden Rallye-Schiffen Platz zu machen.
Alle Wasserstraßennutzer werden gebeten, in der Nähe der Rallye-Flottille und der Veranstaltungsorte vorsichtig zu navigieren, da dort die Schiffsbewegungen und das Verkehrsaufkommen höher als gewöhnlich sein können.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Nutzern für ihre Zusammenarbeit und wünscht den Teilnehmern und Besuchern eine sichere und angenehme Shannon Boat Rally 2026.
