Killaloe Ballina Search and Recovery Unit bittet um Hilfe!

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit möchte die lokale Killaloe Ballina Search and Recovery Unit unterstützen, die feststellen musste, dass die beiden Honda 90 PS-Motoren von ihrem Rettungsboot gestohlen wurden. Es ist erschreckend, dass jemand Motoren von einem Boot stiehlt, das deutlich mit Search & Rescue beschriftet ist und von einer ehrenamtlichen Organisation, die ihre Zeit zur Rettung von Menschenleben widmet. Dies ist nicht das erste Mal, dass Diebe in der näheren Umgebung zugeschlagen haben, so ist auch ein Motor von einem unserer eigenen Boote vor ein paar Jahren gestohlen worden.
Die Einheimischen werden gebeten, etwaige verdächtige Verhalten in der Gegend vor allem rund um Boote zu melden.

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit wishes to offer its support to the local Killaloe Ballina Search and Recovery Unit who discovered that  the two 90hp engines from its rescue boat were stolen. It is appalling that any could steal engines from a craft that is clearly marked Search & Rescue and a voluntary body who devote their time to saving lives. This is not the first occasion that thieves have struck in the local vicinity as an engine was stolen from our own boat a couple of years ago.
Locals are asked to report any suspicious behavior in the area especially around boats.
