Public Moorings – Electrical Power and Water Supply during Winter Period

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise customers that electricity supply to power pedestals and the supply of water to taps on public moorings will be disconnected during the winter period for environmental and reduced maintenance cost reasons.
These services will be restored prior to the commencement of the 2019 boating season. A further Marine Notice will issue at that time.

Öffentliche Liegeplätze – Strom- und Wasserversorgung im Winterhalbjahr
Waterways Ireland möchte die Benutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Stromversorgung von Power-Podesten und die Wasserversorgung von Zapfstellen an öffentlichen Liegeplätzen während der Wintermonate aus ökologischen und reduzierten Wartungskostengründen unterbrochen werden.
Diese Dienste werden vor Beginn der Bootssaison 2019 wiederhergestellt. Eine weitere Marine-Bekanntmachung wird zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlicht.

Water Supply at Public Moorings

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise customers that the supply of water to taps on public moorings will be disconnected during the winter period (from 31st October) for environmental and reduced maintenance cost reasons.
This service will be restored prior to the commencement of the 2018 boating season. A further Marine Notice will issue at that time.

Public Moorings

Further to Marine Notice No. 132 of 2015 Waterways Ireland wishes to advise customers that electricity supply to power pedestals and the supply of water to taps on public moorings will be disconnected on Tues 1 Dec. Water services may be curtailed earlier if there is severe frost before that date.
Masters availing of electricity are requested to run down the balance of their credited units at the power pedestals before 1 Dec.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
