Royal Canal
2nd Lock & 4th Lock – gate repair and measuring works
Closed to navigation from 12 April for 2 weeks
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels on the Royal Canal – 2nd Lock and 4th Lock – that there will be no boat passages permitted from next Tuesday 12th April for 2 weeks due to gate repair, gate measurement and associated works. Sections of towpath on the south side of the canal also require closure during this time.

Royal Canal 2. und 4. Schleuse – Torreparatur und Messarbeiten
Ab dem 12. April für 2 Wochen für die Schifffahrt geschlossen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen auf dem Royal Canal – 2nd Lock und 4th Lock – darauf hinweisen, dass ab kommenden Dienstag, dem 12. April, zwei Wochen lang keine Bootsdurchfahrten möglich sind, da Reparaturen an den Toren, Messungen an den Toren und damit verbundene Arbeiten durchgeführt werden. Auch Abschnitte des Treidelpfades auf der Südseite des Kanals müssen in dieser Zeit gesperrt werden.
