Dry Dock upgrade works

Closure from 21/08/2023 until 01/08/2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify masters of vessels and waterways users that the Rooskey Dry Dock facility is closed for use by the public from 21 August 2023 until 01 August 2024, to facilitate upgrade works.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks its customers for their cooperation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Nutzer von Wasserwegen davon in Kenntnis setzen, dass das Rooskey Dry Dock vom 21. August 2023 bis zum 01. August 2024 für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen ist, um Modernisierungsarbeiten durchzuführen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Ratoath Road, Dublin

Canal & Towpath Closure for Upgrade Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the Royal Canal Level 8, near Ratoath Road, will be closed from November 2015 to March 2016. This is to facilitate construction of a new widened canal area with canoe facilities and improved boat berthing arrangements.
The towpath will also be closed at the works location, and a suitable diversionary route signposted at the site.
Waterways Ireland wishes to apologise to its customers for any inconvenience caused during the course of these works. For any further information or updates please contact the Eastern Regional Office (01 868 0148).
