MARINE NOTICE, No 24 of 2015

GRAND CANAL

SHANNON HARBOUR

SUNKEN VESSEL

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and Owners of vessels that there is a sunken vessel in the main navigational channel immediately West of the 35th Lock Deep Gate, on the Grand Canal at Shannon Harbour.
Passage is not possible at this time. Efforts are being made to remove the vessel at this time and a further Marine Notice will be issued when the channel is clear for navigation.
Any inconvenience to our customers is regretted.

Marine Notice No 1 of 2015 refers.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the re-opening of Lock 14 Drumduff on the Shannon-Erne Waterway has been extended until Friday 3rd April 2015.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Improvement Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that paving, ducting and surfacing upgrade works will be carried out at Clarendon Lock from 13th April 2015 for approximately three weeks and disruption may be experienced during this time.

Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.
