ROYAL CANAL

Kilcock Harbour RE-OPENED

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that Kilcock Harbour has now re-opened for public use following earlier closures due to water quality issues.

Remedial works were undertaken by Kildare County Council to the storm drainage network, subsequent testing has shown that the water quality is suitable for use again.

Water quality testing will continue in the harbour and updates will be issued as appropriate.

Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their ongoing understanding in this matter.
