PORTUMNA SWING BRIDGE

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels that Portumna Swing Bridge is currently non-operational in the closed position.xxx

Navigation through the bridge is not possible at this time.

Further updates will be issued as soon as possible.

Waterways Ireland apologies to their customers for any inconvenience caused.

Proposed Closures of Rooskey and Victoria Locks

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels that due to essential lock maintenance (Lock Gate Replacement) Rooskey and Victoria Locks will be closed to all navigation traffic from 16th October 2017.
Limited passage will be facilitated between 9th October and 16th October while contractors mobilise on site.
Lock Gate Replacement is scheduled to take three (3) months.

Waterways Ireland apologies to their customers for any inconvenience caused.
