Positioning of 2 extra Green Conical Navigation Aids at the Hexagon Shoal, Lough Ree
Notice to all Mariners
Two number extra Green conical aids have been placed as lead on to the existing green Cage Buoy at the hexagon shoal. See attached section of navigation guide relevant to that area.
Please follow the navigation course as per navigation guide.

Lock and Lifting Bridges
Closures 23 March 2018
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels that, due to essential staff training on Friday 23 March from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs, navigation through locks and lifting bridges on the Shannon Navigation system will not be possible.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause its customers.

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Eigner von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass aufgrund der notwendigen Schulung des Personals am Freitag, den 23. März, von 08:00 bis 18:00 Uhr, die Navigation durch Schleusen und Hebebrücken auf dem Shannon Navigationssystem nicht möglich sein wird.
Waterways Ireland bedauert jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies für seine Kunden mit sich bringt.

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffseigentümer darauf hinweisen, dass aufgrund der notwendigen Schulung des Personals am Freitag, den 23. März von 08:00 Uhr bis 18:00 Uhr die Navigation durch Schleusen des Shannon Navigationssystems nicht möglich sein wird.
Waterways Ireland bedauert jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies für seine Gäste und Kunden mit sich bringt.

GRAND CANAL
NAVIGATION RESTRICTION
34th Lock Emergency Repairs
Waterways Ireland wishes to notify owners and Masters of vessels that the Grand Canal will be restricted to navigation at the 34th Lock, East of Shannon Harbour, from 12 March to 15 March for emergency repairs.
Water levels may also be reduced along Level 34 of the Grand Canal in order to facilitate the repairs. Masters are advised to tend their mooring lines accordingly to accommodate any fluctuations in water levels.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience the above will cause to its customers.

34. Schleuse Notfallreparaturen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffseigner und Kapitäne darüber informieren, dass der Grand Canal auf die Schifffahrt an der 34. Schleuse östlich des Shannon Harbour vom 12. März bis 15. März für Notreparaturen beschränkt ist.
Der Wasserstand kann auch entlang der Ebene 34 des Grand Canal gesenkt werden, um die Reparaturarbeiten zu erleichtern. Den Kapitänen wird empfohlen, ihre Festmacherleinen entsprechend zu richten, um etwaigen Schwankungen des Wasserspiegels Rechnung zu tragen.
Waterways Ireland bedauert jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten, die die oben genannten Umstände für seine Kunden mit sich bringen.

Victoria Lock
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels that Marine Notice 85 of 2017 is now revoked and Victoria Lock is now open to navigation.
Waterways Ireland Thanks its customers for their patience in this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Besitzer von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass die Marine Notice 85 von 2017 nun widerrufen wurde und Victoria Lock nun für die Schifffahrt geöffnet ist.
