Repairs to Railway Bridge

October & November 2018

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and Users of the waterways that Coleraine Harbour Commissioners are carrying out repairs to the Railway Bridge from Saturday 6th October for six weeks. (Ref Coleraine Harbour Commissioners Local Notice to Mariners No 7/18)
Masters are requested to proceed with additional caution when passing though the railway bridge arches during the repair works.

Reparaturen an der Eisenbahnbrücke
Oktober & November 2018
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Nutzer der Wasserstraßen darüber informieren, dass Coleraine Harbour Commissioners ab Samstag, den 6. Oktober, sechs Wochen lang Reparaturen an der Eisenbahnbrücke durchführen. (Ref. Coleraine Harbour Commissioners Local Notice to Mariners No 7/18)
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, während der Reparaturarbeiten mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht vorzugehen, wenn sie die Eisenbahnbrückenbögen passieren.

Erne Pike Classic

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the Erne Pike Classic fishing competition is being held on Lough Erne from Friday 12th October to Sunday 14th October. The bank competition will take place on Friday and the boat competition will take place on both Saturday and Sunday.
Henry Street and the outer length of mooring at the Round ‘O’ will be closed and will not be available for the mooring of vessels from Thursday 11th October to facilitate this event. Both Henry Street and the Round ‘O’ will become available for the mooring of vessels from Saturday morning.
Masters of powered craft are requested to be cautious and mindful of competitors on Lough Erne from Friday 12th October to Sunday 14th October.

ERNE PIKE CLASSIC
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass der Erne Pike Classic Angelwettbewerb auf dem Lough Erne vom Freitag, den 12. Oktober bis Sonntag, den 14. Oktober stattfindet. Der Bankenwettbewerb findet am Freitag und der Bootswettbewerb am Samstag und Sonntag statt.
Die Henry Street und die äußere Länge des Liegeplatzes an der O-Runde werden geschlossen und stehen ab Donnerstag, den 11. Oktober, nicht mehr für das Anlegen von Schiffen zur Verfügung, um diese Veranstaltung zu erleichtern. Sowohl die Henry Street als auch die Round’O‘ werden ab Samstagmorgen für das Anlegen von Schiffen zur Verfügung stehen.
Die Kapitäne von Motorfahrzeugen werden gebeten, vom Freitag, den 12. Oktober bis Sonntag, den 14. Oktober, auf dem Lough Erne vorsichtig und achtsam gegenüber den Teilnehmern zu sein.

GRAND CANAL – 16th LOCK

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels that due to recent interference with racks on lock gates and to regulate water levels, padlocks have been installed on racks at the 16th Lock Grand Canal, Digby Bridge.
Access through the lock can be arranged through local Water Patroller 087-2895611 or by contacting Eastern Region Office at 01-8680148.
Waterways Ireland thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass aufgrund der jüngsten Störungen von Racks an Schleusentoren und zur Regulierung des Wasserspiegels Vorhängeschlösser auf Racks am 16. Lock Grand Canal, Digby Bridge, installiert wurden.
Der Zugriff durch die Schleuse kann über die lokale Wasserpatrouille 087-2895611 oder über das Büro der Region Ost unter 01-8680148 erfolgen.
