Canoe Polo Event – Saturday 16th September 2023
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and waterways users of the Royal Canal that a canoe polo event will be taking place in Kilcock Harbour on Saturday 16th September 2023.
In order to facilitate the event, navigation in this area will be very restricted from 1500hrs on Friday 15th September to 1900hrs on Saturday 16th September 2023. Vessels should move away from any of the moorings in the harbour area for the duration of the event, and will only be able to navigate past the event if allowed to proceed by the event organisers between event activities through a prior arrangement.
Masters of vessels are therefore requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of the event and to obey any instructions given by event stewards.

Kanu-Polo-Veranstaltung – Samstag, 16. September 2023
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffsführer und Wasserstraßenbenutzer des Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass am Samstag, den 16. September 2023, im Kilcock Harbour eine Kanupolo-Veranstaltung stattfinden wird.
Um die Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen, wird die Schifffahrt in diesem Gebiet von Freitag, den 15. September um 1500 Uhr bis Samstag, den 16. September 2023 um 1900 Uhr stark eingeschränkt sein. Schiffe sollten sich für die Dauer der Veranstaltung von allen Liegeplätzen im Hafengebiet fernhalten und können nur dann an der Veranstaltung vorbeifahren, wenn die Organisatoren die Weiterfahrt zwischen den Veranstaltungsaktivitäten nach vorheriger Absprache gestatten.
Die Schiffskapitäne werden daher gebeten, in der Nähe der Veranstaltung zusätzliche Vorsicht walten zu lassen und den Anweisungen der Veranstaltungsleiter Folge zu leisten.
