Lower Bann

Cutts Lock Closure – 20th Feb for 6 weeks

Waterways Ireland advise users and masters of vessels that Cutts lock on the Lower Bann navigation will be closed to all navigational traffic from Thursday 20th February 2025 for a period of approximately 6 weeks.
This closure is to facilitate the refurbishment and installation of lock gates and carry out essential sluice maintenance works.
Waterways Ireland apologise to its customers for any inconvenience caused by these essential works.

Lower Bann; Cutts Lock Closure – 20. Februar für 6 Wochen
Waterways Ireland weist die Benutzer und Kapitäne von Schiffen darauf hin, dass die Cutts-Schleuse am Lower Bann ab Donnerstag, dem 20. Februar 2025, für einen Zeitraum von etwa 6 Wochen für den gesamten Schiffsverkehr geschlossen wird.
Die Schließung erfolgt, um die Sanierung und den Einbau von Schleusentoren zu ermöglichen und wichtige Wartungsarbeiten an der Schleuse durchzuführen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich bei seinen Gästen für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die durch diese notwendigen Arbeiten entstehen.

Royal Canal

Essential Tree Works – The Maws, Kilcock

Restricted Access from 19th to 22nd February

Waterways Ireland advises that there will be restricted access along the Royal Canal Greenway between the 14th and 15th Locks at the Maws, Kilcock, in order to carry out essential tree works.
The works will take place from Wednesday 19th February to Saturday 22nd February 2025.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Eingeschränkter Zugang vom 19. bis 22. Februar
Waterways Ireland weist darauf hin, dass die Zufahrt zum Royal Canal Greenway zwischen der 14. und 15. Schleuse an den Maws, Kilcock, eingeschränkt sein wird, um wesentliche Baumarbeiten durchführen zu können.
Die Arbeiten finden von Mittwoch, 19. Februar, bis Samstag, 22. Februar 2025, statt.
