| Waterways Ireland wishes to inform masters of vessels that the Office of Public Works (OPW), Hydrometric Section, will undertake flow measurement operations on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, between 08:00 and 15:00, downstream of the floating pontoon at Red Bridge on the River Inny. The purpose of these operations is to conduct hydrometric flow measurements using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers. Navigation will remain fully open during this period. The OPW will coordinate activities with waterway users to minimise any disruption. Masters of vessels are requested to proceed with caution in the vicinity and to comply with directions issued by OPW personnel to ensure the safety of all waterway users.
