Reopened on Friday 04 Feb 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Master of Vessels on the Erne System that Bellanaleck slipway is reopened wef Friday 04 Feb 2022.
Marine Notice No 91 of 2021 is hereby cancelled.
Waterways Ireland thanks all waterways users for their understanding in relation to this matter.

Erne System, Bellanaleck Slipway
Wiedereröffnet am Freitag, 04. Februar 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass die Bellanaleck Slipway ab Freitag, 04. Februar 2022 wieder geöffnet ist.
Die Marine Notice Nr. 91 von 2021 wird hiermit aufgehoben.
Waterways Ireland dankt allen Wasserstraßenbenutzern für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

Erne System

Erne Head of the River Rowing Race,
5th March 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the Erne Head of the River Rowing Race will take place on Saturday 5th March 2022.
The event will start upstream of the Killyhevlin hotel and will race through to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School boathouse, a total length of 6KM.
The rowing event will take place from 12pm – 3pm with the official race start at 1:30pm.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation.

Waterways Ireland möchte darauf hinweisen, dass das Erne Head of the River Rowing Race am Samstag, den 5. März 2022, stattfinden wird.
Die Veranstaltung beginnt flussaufwärts des Killyhevlin Hotels und führt bis zum Bootshaus der Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, eine Gesamtlänge von 6 km.
Die Ruderveranstaltung findet von 12 bis 15 Uhr statt, der offizielle Start ist um 13:30 Uhr.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Mitarbeit.

Grand Canal

Sallins, Towpath Closure

15 to 26 February 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the towpath on the South Bank of the Grand Canal adjacent to Church Avenue will be closed from 15th to 26th February 2022. This closure is to facilitate tree removal works for the new Greenway route.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Sallins, Sperrung des Treidelpfades, 15. bis 26. Februar 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte darauf hinweisen, dass der Treidelpfad am Südufer des Grand Canal in der Nähe der Church Avenue vom 15. bis 26. Februar 2022 gesperrt wird. Die Sperrung erfolgt, um Baumfällarbeiten für die neue Greenway-Route zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten.

Closed to navigation until end of February

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels on the Royal Canal the summit level will be closed to navigation with immediate effect until the end of February 2022, in order to facilitate essential leakage repair works.

Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Bis Ende Februar für die Schifffahrt geschlossen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen auf dem Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass der Scheitelpunkt des Kanals mit sofortiger Wirkung bis Ende Februar 2022 für die Schifffahrt gesperrt wird, um notwendige Reparaturarbeiten an Lecks zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehm-lichkeiten.

Shannon Navigation

Carrick on Shannon

Head of the Shannon rowing event,
Saturday 19 February 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that the Head of the Shannon rowing event will take place on Saturday 19th February 2022.
The event will take place downstream of Carrick on Shannon bridge for a distance of 3.5km. The rowing starts at navigation maker known locally as White Woman/White Lady 3.5KM downstream of Carrick on Shannon and will proceed back to the Marina downstream of Bridge.
The rowing events will take place at 11am and at 2pm.
Masters of vessels are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of the rowing events.
Waterways Ireland thanks vessel owners for their co-operation.
