Site Investigation Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that they may experience delays due to planned Site Investigation works at Lock 12 Lisconor on the Shannon-Erne Waterway from Tuesday 16th April to Friday 19th April.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Standortuntersuchungsarbeiten
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Besitzer von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass es aufgrund geplanter Standortuntersuchungsarbeiten an der Schleuse 12 Lisconor auf dem Shannon-Erne-Wasserweg vom Dienstag, den 16. April bis Freitag, den 19. April zu Verzögerungen kommen kann.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies verursachen kann, und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Mitarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Lough Allen canal

Low water levels

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that water levels on the Lough Allen canal are below normal levels at present.
Vessels wishing to navigate the Lough Allen canal should check with the lock keeper before proceeding along the canal. It is anticipated that water levels will return to normal by Saturday 13 April 2019.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Niedrige Wasserstände
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und die Wassersportler darauf hinweisen, dass der Wasserstand am Lough Allen-Kanal derzeit unter dem normalen Niveau liegt.
Schiffe, die den Lough-Allen-Kanal befahren wollen, sollten sich mit dem Schleusenwärter in Verbindung setzen, bevor sie den Kanal entlang fahren. Es wird erwartet, dass sich die Wasserstände bis Samstag, den 13. April 2019, wieder normalisieren werden.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt allen Wasserfahrzeugbesitzern und Schiffsführern für ihre Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Shannonbridge

Inspection & survey of Bord na Mona Railway Bridge

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters of vessels and water users that the following inspection & survey works will be carried out on the Bord na Mona railway bridge south of Shannon Bridge.

- Inspection of bridge with underbridge truck unit from 16th to 18th April.
- survey of river channel by boat from 16th to 18th April.

A safety boat will be in the water at all times.
Masters of vessels and water users are requested to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of this work.
Waterways Ireland thanks all vessel owners and operators for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Inspektion und Begehung der Bord na Mona Eisenbahnbrücke
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Gewässernutzern darüber informieren, dass die folgenden Inspektions- und Vermessungsarbeiten an der Eisenbahnbrücke Bord na Mona südlich der Shannon Bridge durchgeführt werden.

- Inspektion der Brücke mit Unterbrücken-LKW-Einheit vom 16. bis 18. April.
- Vermessung des Flusslaufs mit dem Boot vom 16. bis 18. April.

Ein Sicherheitsboot wird immer im Wasser sein.
Schiffsführer und Wassernutzer werden gebeten, in der Nähe dieser Arbeiten mit zusätzlicher Vorsicht vorzugehen.

LOWER BANN

Payment for passage through Locks and Bridges

Masters and users of the Lower Bann are advised a dual payment system will be in operation at all locks during 2019. Masters of vessels will be able to pay by Smart Card or cash.
The cost of the lock passage on the Lower Bann will cost 1 unit on the Smart Card.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in this matter.

Zahlung für die Durchfahrt durch Schleusen und Brücken
Den Kapitänen und Nutzern des Lower Bann wird empfohlen, dass 2019 an allen Schleusen ein duales Zahlungssystem in Betrieb sein wird. Kapitäne von Schiffen können mit Smart Card oder in bar bezahlen.
Die Kosten für den Schleusendurchgang am unteren Bann betragen 1 Einheit auf der Smart Card.

Payment for passage through Locks and Bridges

Masters and users of the Shannon Navigation are advised a dual payment system will be in operation at all locks and bridges during 2019. Masters of vessels will be able to pay by Smart Card or cash.Where bridge lifting is required at Tarmonbarry and Rooskey, a combined toll payments for the lock and bridge will be taken at the Lock.
The cost of the lock passage on the Shannon will cost two units from the smart card. The lock passage on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will remain at 1 unit. The cost of the lock passage on the Lower Bann will cost 1 unit. The 10 unit card costs €6.35/£5.55 and the 20 unit card costs €12.70/£11.10.

Die Kosten für den Schleusendurchgang auf dem Shannon werden zwei Einheiten von der Chipkarte kosten. Der Schleusendurchgang auf dem Shannon-Erne-Wasserweg bleibt bei 1 Einheit. Die Kosten für den Schleusendurchgang auf dem Lower Bann kosten 1 Einheit. Die 10er-Karte kostet €6,35/£5,55 und die 20er-Karte €12,70/£11,10.
