DOCKLANDS SUMMER FESTIVAL

16th – 17th May 2015

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the Waterways Ireland Docklands Summer Festival will take place in and around Grand Canal Dock on 16th and 17th May 2015. There will be numerous water based events in Grand Canal Dock.
Masters and owners of vessels operating in the area should heed advice from event marshals and organisers.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused by this restriction.

FESTIVAL OF FUN 9-10 May 2015

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that there will be a „Festival of Fun“ on the Royal Canal at 10th Lock Ashtown between 9th and 10th May 2015.
Masters and owners of vessels operating in the area should heed advice from event organisers as there will be canoes, kayaks and paddle boards operating in the area.

Shannon Blueway

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the „Shannon Blueway Adventure Festival“ will be taking place this weekend, 1st – 4th May, in Leitrim Village.
Numerous canoes and kayaks will be in attendance. Masters are requested to approach the area at slow speed and with minimum wash to avoid creating any hazard for smaller craft.
