Lough Ree – Lanesborough

Triathlon Event Sat 12 July

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the swimming element of the above event will take place in Lanesborough , south of the town bridge, between 1030 and 1230 hours on Sat 12 July 2014.
The 750m course will be set out just south of the town bridge and will be marked by three large orange buoys. Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when passing the course and to note any advice given by safety boat marshals.

Coosan Point and Killinure Lough

Aquathon Event Wed 2 July

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the swimming element of an aquathon event will take place in the vicinity of Coosan Point moorings in Killenure Lough, between 1900 and 2000 hours on Wed 2 July 2014.

The 750m course is set out just south of the moorings and is marked by three large orange buoys. Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when passing the course and to note any advice given by safety boat marshals. The Rally intends to visit the following harbours:
Dromineer, Terryglass, Rossmore, Mountshannon and Killaloe.
