Banagher Area
Repair of Overhead Electrical Cables
Waterways Ireland has been advised by ESB Networks that emergency repairs to overhead electrical cables will be undertaken today at the eastern end of Inishee Island, approximately 2km downstream of Banagher bridge.
The cables will be pulled from one bank of the navigation to the other and then hoisted into position. Navigation will be interrupted for short periods throughout this operation.
Masters are requested to note the advice and directions issued by the safety craft in attendance.
