Air draft restriction, 03 October to 01 November 2022
Waterways Ireland wishes to inform Masters of Vessels and users of the Grand Canal that maintenance works are being carried out to the railway bridge over the Grand Canal at Sallins, Co. Kildare.
Scaffolding will be attached to the bridge and will result in an air draft restriction of 2.5 metres for boats passing under the bridge. This air draft restriction will be in place from October 3rd 2022 to November 4th 2022. The towpath will operate as normal with no restrictions.

Grand Canal, Sallins, Reparaturen an der Eisenbahnbrücke
Air draft Beschränkung, 03. Oktober bis 01. November 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Benutzer des Grand Canal darüber informieren, dass an der Eisenbahnbrücke über den Grand Canal in Sallins, Co. Kildare Arbeiten durchgeführt werden.
An der Brücke wird ein Gerüst angebracht, das für Boote, die unter der Brücke durchfahren, eine Tiefgangsbeschränkung von 2,5 Metern zur Folge hat. Diese Tiefgangsbeschränkung wird vom 3. Oktober 2022 bis zum 4. November 2022 in Kraft sein. Der Treidelpfad wird wie gewohnt ohne Einschränkungen befahrbar sein.
