Temporary Closure of Navigation between Lock 12 and Lock 13 to Facilitate Installation of Footbridge
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the navigation will be closed between Lock 12 and Lock 13 on Tuesday 18/02/2020 in order to facilitate the installation of a new footbridge.
It is estimated that the closure shall be for no more than one day.

Vorübergehende Sperrung der Schifffahrt zwischen Schleuse 12 und Schleuse 13 zur Erleichterung der Installation einer Fußgängerbrücke Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass die Schifffahrt zwischen Schleuse 12 und Schleuse 13 am Dienstag 18/02/2020 geschlossen wird, um die Installation einer neuen Fußgänger-brücke zu erleichtern. Es wird geschätzt, dass die Schließung nicht länger als einen Tag dauern wird. Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that all 16 locks on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be out of service from Saturday 22rd December 2018 to 1st January 2019 inclusive. No lock passage by boat will be possible during this period. Normal service will resume at 0900 on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
Service Blocks:
The Service Blocks at Aghalane and Haughton’s Shore shall be closed until 15th March 2019 inclusive. The Service Blocks at Ballyconnell, Ballinamore, Keshcarrigan and Leitrim shall remain open.
Trails:
All associated land based and water based Blueway trails shall remain open.

Januar 2019 um 09:00 Uhr wieder aufgenommen. Serviceblöcke: Die Serviceblöcke an Aghalane und Haughton’s Shore sind bis einschließlich 15. März 2019 geschlossen. Die Serviceblöcke bei Ballyconnell, Ballinamore, Keshcarrigan und Leitrim bleiben offen. Pfade: Alle zugehörigen land- und wasserbasierten Blueway-Strecken müssen offen bleiben. Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the channel between Lock 5 Ardrum and Lock 4 Aghoo on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be closed to boat traffic from Tuesday 2nd December until Monday 22nd December 2014. The section of navigation will remain closed during this period to facilitate ongoing works to the adjacent towpath.
