Temporary Closure on Mon 11 May 0930 hrs to 1430hrs
Waterways Ireland has been advised by ESB Networks that a power outage will take place at Meelick Lock on Mon 11 May between 0930 hrs and 1430hrs. The lock will remain closed during this period
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.

Victoria Lock – Meelick
Temporary Closure for Power Outage
Waterways Ireland has been informed by the ESB that there will be a power outage at Victoria Lock on:
Sat 14 Feb from 1000hrs to 1400hrs
Tue17 Feb from 1000hrs to 1600hrs
The lock will not be operational during these times on the respective dates.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Drumshanbo Lock is closed for essential lock gate repair until Friday 24th October 2014.

Temporary Closure
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise owners and masters that the Grand Canal at Sallins will be closed to navigation from Mon 27th Jan until Thurs 13th Mar 2014 while new moorings are being constructed due to the presence of workboats, pontoons and chains across the canal, no passage will be permissible.
