Lock 8 Castlefore
Temporary closure for works
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Lock 8 Castlefore on the Shannon-Erne Waterway will be closed to boat traffic on Wednesday 17th May 2017 between 10am and 2pm.
The lock will remain closed during this period to facilitate emergency remedial works to the sluice gates.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.
