Royal Canal
National Cycle Network Construction
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that that construction works for the NCN cycleway on the Royal Canal are ongoing on the towpath at different stages between Ballasport Bridge and Cloncurry Bridge and will continue until the end of the year.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.

Terryglass Bay – Powerboat Racing
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that OCRI Powerboat Racing will take place in Terryglass Bay on Sat 29 and Sun 30 Jul from 1100hrs until 1800hrs.During this period three races will take place each of 20 minutes duration on each day.
Races will be run to avoid conflict with boating traffic aiming for Portumna Bridge open times.
Masters are requested to note any advice or instructions from safety boats marshalling the course.
